Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has sent a congratulatory letter to Irakli Kobakhidze on his re-approval as Prime Minister of Georgia and the formation of a new government, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The letter expressed satisfaction with the upward development of Azerbaijan's relations with Georgia, which is a friendly country and reliable partner.
It was emphasized that the two states, which are connected by deep historical ties, effectively cooperate in areas of mutual interest both bilaterally and multilaterally.
It was noted that Azerbaijan is determined to further expand relations and strategic partnership with Georgia based on friendship, mutual trust and support.
