New realities related to the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation also create good prospects for investment cooperation, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the Tashkent International Investment Forum, APA reports.
The Prime Minister said that a favorable environment has been created in Azerbaijan for investors. Important measures are being taken to reduce the tax burden, eliminate administrative obstacles, improve the legal framework, protect the rights and interests of investors, and protect property rights: "The established favorable environment creates broad opportunities for foreign investors. As a result, over the past 20 years, more than 338 billion US dollars have been invested in the Azerbaijani economy. New realities related to the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation also create good prospects for investment cooperation. Currently, large-scale restoration work is being carried out in those territories."
