There are good opportunities to further expand Azerbaijan-Croatia interparliamentary relations, said the Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), Sahiba Gafarova, at a joint press conference with the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, APA reports.
“Today, we invited our friendship groups to more active cooperation. Increasing the number of mutual visits by our parliament members is desirable. On the other hand, closer contact between our delegations in international parliamentary organizations and mutual support on issues of common interest are also important. Establishing cooperation between the committees of our parliaments was also one of the topics discussed. We believe that close cooperation and exchange of experience between our committees working in areas such as economy, energy, transportation, entrepreneurship, education, and culture will be very beneficial,” said Sahiba Gafarova.
The Speaker of the Milli Majlis noted that over the past 30 years, relations have successfully developed in various fields and have risen to the level of strategic partnership.
