On September 25, members of the Milli Majlis' working group on interparliamentary relations with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland met with a delegation led by Lord Aamer Sarfraz, a member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.
Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations of the Milli Majlis, member of the working group, Samad Seyidov, welcomed the guests and expressed his satisfaction with seeing them in the Milli Majlis.
Speaking at the meeting, members of the Milli Majlis' working group on interparliamentary relations with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Sevinj Fataliyeva, Zaur Shukurov, and Tural Ganjaliyev, noted the importance of diplomatic dialogue at various levels in the development of relations between our countries. It was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom cover other areas in addition to the economic, political, humanitarian, and energy sectors and reflect relations based on mutual trust.
The meeting also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
