A group of members of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) will visit Russia on September 18 to observe elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Parliament's Press and Public Relations Department told APA.
Committee Chairman Azer Amiraslanov and MPs Fatma Yildirim, Anar Mammadov, and Eyvaz Gurbanov will monitor the electoral process in Moscow, while MP Sabir Hajiyev will observe the elections in St. Petersburg.
The Azerbaijani MPs will familiarize themselves with the conditions at polling stations and observe the voting and vote-counting processes.
