During the meeting, the parties reviewed political, economic, trade, energy and humanitarian aspects of bilateral relations, along with regional and international issues.
Minister Bayramov recalled his productive meeting with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi at the Munich Security Conference, emphasizing the importance of such high-level contacts and political consultations for developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The discussions underscored the importance of strengthening both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, particularly in developing partnership opportunities within energy security.
Officials highlighted the significance of the Azerbaijan-Moldova Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation for advancing collaboration in economic, trade and investment spheres.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest to both countries.
The same day featured political consultations between the foreign ministries, led by Azerbaijan's Deputy FM Samir Sharifov and Moldova's State Secretary Mihov.
