"Although it is still at the initial calculation stage, there is also a project, which has been underway since the end of 2022, to form a new green energy corridor and deliver green energy from the Caspian Basin to Europe via Georgia," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a joint press conference with Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, APA reports.

The minister said that although the project is in its initial stage, a number of countries are showing great interest: “At the same time, one of the projects between our countries is the formation of fiber optic lines. For this, many projects are being implemented between Azerbaijan and Georgia. Trilateral and quadrilateral formats are also being successfully implemented to support the implementation of these and a number of other global projects. I would like to highlight the holding of the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye trilateral meeting in Baku and the adoption of the Baku Declaration. In addition to the projects mentioned above, a detailed exchange of views will be held on a number of new projects at tomorrow's meeting of the 10th Intergovernmental Joint Commission."
