In the preliminary stage students studying in Turkiye, and those who need urgent help will be evacuated, said the information of Azerbaijani MFA regarding the measures done by Azerbaijan in Turkiye as a result of the earthquake.

Based on the gained information and the citizen appeals received by the hotlines, which operate 24 hours a day and are answered by employees, Azerbaijani citizens who reside in provinces (Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adana, Malatya, Gaziantep, Adiyaman, Şanliurfa, Kilis, Osmaniye, Diyarbakir, Elazig, and Mersin) of Türkiye’s that were subjected to destruction, or temporarily in there, are listed. Citizens who wish to be evacuated to Azerbaijan will be accommodated on buses reserved for this purpose. Negotiations are underway with Turkish government agencies to remove these restrictions so that restrictions related to adverse weather conditions do not hinder the evacuation process.
