Bilateral negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia are producing significant results in the peace process, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference in Baku with Swiss Federal Councillor, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ignazio Cassis, APA reports.
The minister noted that a de facto state of peace has now emerged between the two countries and that steps are being taken to strengthen confidence.
"Today, we can confidently say that the bilateral format has proven its effectiveness in advancing the peace agenda. The results achieved once again confirm this," Jeyhun Bayramov said.
According to the minister, it is important that the peace agenda continue to be advanced through direct dialogue.
