Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, has congratulated the Republic of Türkiye on the occasion of August 30 Victory Day, he shared on his X account, APA reports.
“On the occasion of August 30 – Victory Day, I sincerely congratulate the people of brotherly Türkiye! This victory, which is the greatest celebration of Türkiye’s national will and spirit of unity, is one of the glorious pages of world history. May your victories and successes be everlasting, Türkiye! Happy holiday!” the head of Azerbaijan’s MFA stated.
Note that the victory won under the command of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Dumlupınar on August 30, 1922, is celebrated in Türkiye as Victory Day.
