President Ilham Aliyev's visit to the US on August 7-8 and the documents signed are an important stage in terms of Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization, said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a special meeting dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Washington held at the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
The minister said that the policy pursued by Azerbaijan has reached its logical peak: "As a result of the resolutely pursued foreign policy, the resolution of the conflict has been in line with our national interests. Even in the most difficult times, our country did not allow the legitimization of the occupation."
