On November 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Hans Kluge, Regional Director for Europe of the World Health Organization (WHO), who was visiting Azerbaijan within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
It was noted that during the meeting, Azerbaijan-WHO cooperation, as well as Azerbaijan's COP29 chairmanship was discussed. It was noted that our Azerbaijan's close cooperation with the WHO, especially the joint activities carried out in the direction of taking measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, are commendable.
