A meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Yaakov Blitshtein, the Azerbaijani Ministry told APA.
According to the Ministry, the meeting included a comprehensive discussion on various aspects of bilateral and multilateral relations, including current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in areas such as economy, security, high technologies, education, tourism, energy, and transportation, as well as the situation in Gaza.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed the counterpart on the current situation in the region during the post-conflict period and the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process.
It was noted that Azerbaijan’s Presidency of the 29th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29) has created additional opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other international and regional issues.
