Today, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, the current state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended during his official visit and voiced hope that today's visit would contribute to the further development of cooperation between the two countries.
Satisfaction was expressed with the level of political dialogue at the high and highest levels between the two countries, and the importance of further developing this dynamic through concrete initiatives in the fields of economy, trade, investment, tourism, logistics, and information and communication technologies was emphasized.
It was noted with satisfaction that 2026 will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Bahrain and the importance of continuing to base cooperation on the principles that have underpinned bilateral relations over the past decades was highlighted.
During the meeting, an exchange of views also took place on other issues of mutual interest.
