On August 14, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov made a telephone call with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.
It was noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan conveyed his congratulations on the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and the United States during the visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States, as well as on the achievements made in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. It was noted that the signed documents are of great importance for ensuring peace and stability in the region.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the level of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership relations, and emphasized that the high-level contacts and visits between our countries serve the development of cooperation.
The importance of further strengthening cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations of which Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are members was noted, and preparations for events to be held in the coming months were discussed.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
