On January 25, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, the Ministry told APA.
During the telephone conversation, the current cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OIC, current issues on the organization's agenda and future plans were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that there is useful and effective cooperation between Azerbaijan and OIC in various fields, including political, economic, cultural, educational, etc. Discussions, that were conducted within the framework of the visit of the Secretary-General to Azerbaijan and within the framework of the UN General Assembly, were recalled with pleasure.
