Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, stated in a post on the Foreign Ministry’s X account, APA reports.
The post reads:
“On the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Marko Djuric.
During the meeting, the Ministers discussed the current state and prospects for the development of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, cooperation in the political, economic, trade, energy, transport and humanitarian spheres, as well as regional and international security issues.
The Ministers highlighted the important role of high-level contacts, political dialogue and inter-parliamentary ties, as well as key mechanisms including the Azerbaijan–Serbia Strategic Partnership Council, Intergovernmental Commission, and regular political consultations between Foreign Ministries in advancing bilateral ties.”
