On December 23, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, was received by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, within the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Serbia, Azerbaijan MFA told APA.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the existing strategic partnership relations between the two countries, and the importance of mutual high-level visits was emphasized.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was held on bilateral strategic partnership relations as well as regional security issues.
The parties expressed their appreciation for the continuous support always shown by Azerbaijan and Serbia to each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
President Vučić, congratulating Azerbaijan on successfully hosting the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), also fondly recalled his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, during COP29.
The meeting also covered bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

According to the Ministry, a diverse array of topics stemming from Azerbaijan-Serbia strategic partnership in the fields of economy, energy, connectivity, humanitarian, as well as regional and international security matters were discussed at the meeting.
