"Relations between our countries, including in the economic sphere, are developing very successfully. High-level mutual visits have played an important role in this," Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference following a meeting with his Serbian counterpart, Marko Djuric, during his visit to Belgrade, APA reports.
According to him, both countries support each other's positions within international organizations.
The minister further added that work is being done to increase the level of cooperation in areas such as trade, energy security, science, culture, and tourism: "The introduction of a visa-free regime between the two countries has created an opportunity to improve the level of cooperation between our citizens. We are confident that the upcoming 'Expo-2027' international exhibition will create conditions for further development of the partnership. This visit will undoubtedly be a step forward in the cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan. This year, Azerbaijan successfully hosted the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Serbia was represented at this event at the highest level, by President Aleksandar Vučić. Your country has signed important documents aimed at achieving the new global goals set for 2035."
