On October 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, MFA told APA.
According to the information, during the meeting, the prospects of further development of bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries, as well as issues of regional cooperation, were discussed.
It was also noted that there will be an additional opportunity for meetings between the countries' leaders within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) and that this event is a special opportunity for cooperation between the two countries.
Additionally, other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest were exchanged at the meeting.
