Azerbaijani FM: Burning of our flag in Armenia and France must be condemned as criminal act

"Revanchist tendencies in Armenia and the statements of radical diaspora representatives there should be noted," Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu, APA reports.

The minister said that the state flag of Azerbaijan, which is a national symbol, was burned in Armenia: “And yesterday, our flag was also burned in France. We appeal to the relevant authorities in both countries. It is necessary to evaluate such acts as criminal offenses. These steps are shameful acts. We also consider the public condemnation messages from our side important in this regard."
