Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar during his visit to the United Arab Emirates, APA reports citing Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was stated that during the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation issues in the fields of economy, trade, energy, high technologies, defense, and other areas of mutual interest.
Additionally, regional and international security issues, including the situation in the wider Middle East, were also on the agenda.
Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also shared a post about the meeting.
"We extensively talked about bilateral and multilateral cooperation matters, as well as regional and international issues.
Also informed about post-conflict regional reconstruction and peace agenda, current state of Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, as well as existing challenges to the peace process," the post reads.

According to the Israeli minister, relations with Azerbaijan are expanding and cover strategic, diplomatic, economic, energy, and other aspects.
