On March 11, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with the High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, who is visiting the country to participate in the Global Baku Forum, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues on the agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the continuation of jointly implemented projects, and prospects for future cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on other bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest, including the promotion of intercultural solidarity in the face of global challenges and opportunities for joint activities in combating Islamophobia.
