Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elnur Mammadov, who is on a visit to the Netherlands, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Marcel de Vink, the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, it was noted that the recent high-level contacts between the two countries, especially the meeting between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Dick Schoof held within the framework of the 7th Summit of the “European Political Community” in Copenhagen, created a positive foundation for the development of relations.
Bilateral and multilateral agenda topics, as well as international and regional issues of mutual interest — including the new realities in the region in the post-conflict period, the peace process, and the outcomes of the historic Washington meeting — were also in the focus of attention during the meeting.
Deputy Minister Elnur Mammadov informed the other side about the steps taken by Azerbaijan in the name of sustainable development and stability in the region.
