Azerbaijani delegation participates in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is being held, APA's Russia bureau reports.

Azerbaijan is represented at the forum by a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev.

Within the framework of the forum, business meetings were held between Elnur Aliyev and Acting Head of the Republic of Dagestan Fyodor Shukin, as well as Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Magomed Ramazanov.

Current issues related to strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Dagestan were discussed. Agreements on cooperation in the agricultural sector were signed between Azerbaijani and Dagestani companies.

A business meeting was also held between the Azerbaijani delegation and Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov. The meeting focused on the development of bilateral trade and investment relations.

It was noted that a roadmap for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Karelia is currently under consideration.
