On March 6, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov made a phone call to the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told APA.
During the phone conversation, the ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the region. Concern was expressed over the military escalation, and the importance of refraining from steps that could further increase tensions was emphasized.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Belarusian counterpart about the drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on March 5.
The ministers also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
