An Azerbaijani has been elected as a deputy of the Izhevsk City Duma in Russia, APA's Russian bureau reports.
Bahruz Gumbatov Ali was elected as a deputy of the city duma from the 25th Union constituency of Izhevsk, Udmurtia Republic.
His candidacy received approximately 56 percent of the vote in the district.
It should be noted that Bahruz Gumbatov was born on November 26, 1978 in the village of Ormashen, Dmanisi district, Georgia. He graduated from the Institute of Law, Social Management and Security of Udmurtia State University.
It should be noted that yesterday was the day of single elections in Russia. Heads of 21 subjects of the country, deputies to legislative bodies of state power and municipalities were elected.
