Azerbaijani, Armenian border guards begin to operate in direction of Gazakh

From May 24, instead of the army, the Border Guards of Armenia take over the border protection of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the direction of Tavush, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

Reported that from that date on the 5.8-kilometer section of the state border in the direction of Kirants, the protection process will be carried out in accordance with the transition scheme:

"According to that logic, the state border protection will be carried out by the units of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the indicated directions of the border with Azerbaijan," the information says.
