On June 14, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, APA reports.
During the telephone conversation, the situation in the region as a result of the operation launched by Israel against Iranian territory, issues arising from bilateral relations, as well as preparations for the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled to be held in Istanbul on June 21-22, were discussed.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation today, sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry reported, APA reports.
The ministers discussed the situation regarding the recent military clashes between Iran and Israel.
It was reported that Hakan Fidan also had a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart.
