On the sidelines of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation Summit in Cairo, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan said in a post on the X platform, APA reports.

"Emphasizing the historical and cultural ties between the two brotherly countries, Azerbaijan and Pakistan, the sides discussed developing bilateral cooperation, as well as mutual support within international organizations," the post reads.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, APA reports citing Pakistani media.

The meeting took place within the framework of the 11th Summit of the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization in Egypt.
