Azerbaijan and Iran think tanks have signed a memorandum, APA reports.
Today, within the framework of the event titled “Azerbaijan–Iran Relations in the Context of Regional Processes” held at the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the AIR Center and the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the memorandum, the implementation of academic exchanges based on mutually beneficial cooperation and the execution of joint projects between the AIR Center and IPIS are envisaged.
The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of the AIR Center, Ambassador Farid Shafiyev, and the Head of the Institution for Political and International Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IPIS), Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh.
