On March 6, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, the Foreign Ministry told APA.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of the friendly and strategic partnership relations between the two countries. It was emphasized that the existing high-level political dialogue, frequent visits, and the political consultations mechanism contribute to strengthening relations between the two nations. The importance of further expanding such political engagements this year was also highlighted.
The ministers also exchanged views on regional issues.
