"I was delighted to meet with the Permanent Representative of the UK to NATO, Ambassador Angus Lapsley at UKATO. We had a fruitful discussion on Azerbaijan-NATO partnership within the Partnership for Peace (PfP) framework, the newly upgraded Azerbaijan- UK bilateral relations to strategic partnership, as well as, the recent developments in the region and the outcomes of the August 8, 2025, historic Washington meeting on Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process."
