Fariz Rzayev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Esmeralda Mendonça, Secretary of State for External Relations of the Republic of Angola, to explore the possibilities of enhancing collaboration in the political, economic and humanitarian domains between the two countries, APA reports.
During the meeting, the sides noted that the establishment of a mechanism for political consultations between the foreign ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Angola would serve to coordinate and evolve cooperation on bilateral and multilateral platforms.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a political consultation mechanism.
