On December 2, 2024, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with Tatiana Pugh Moreno, Deputy Minister of the People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Azerbaijani Ministry told APA.
According to the Ministry, the meeting discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues on the agenda between Azerbaijan and Venezuela, as well as the prospects for collaboration in economic-trade, energy, tourism, agriculture, culture, and education sectors.
Noting that the existence of intensive political dialogue between the two countries, as well as contacts held within the framework of various visits and international events, is gratifying, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, emphasized the significance of such discussions in determining concrete plans across various fields.
As part of Deputy Minister Tatiana Pugh Moreno's visit to Azerbaijan, the second round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was held.
During the consultations, the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Elnur Mammadov, while the Venezuelan delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs Tatiana Pugh Moreno.
The discussions within the consultations focused on prospects for bilateral and multilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Venezuela, future plans for further enhancing ties, joint initiatives, as well as other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
