Considering the deterioration of the security situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, we call on Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran, and those currently in Iran to leave the country via Azerbaijan or Türkiye, depending on their location, the Ministry told APA.
Our citizens are also urged to observe security measures, avoid crowded places, comply with instructions of local authorities, and regularly follow official sources of information.
In case of any emergency, citizens are requested to contact the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Consulate General in the city of Tabriz through the following channels:
