Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan discussed joint projects in the energy sector, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during the statement at a press conference on the results of the 2nd meeting of the trilateral mechanism between Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan held in Ankara, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that the region has special importance in terms of transit and logistics, and the parties discussed cooperation in this direction. The Minister also emphasized the increased cargo-carrying capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and the Alat port.
