Azerbaijan transfers $2 million to the OTS Secretariat

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, made a speech at the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States, APA reports.

During his speech, he expressed his satisfaction with seeing everyone at the meeting held in preparation for the 12th Summit on "Regional Peace and Security".

The minister noted that in the context of challenges and prospects, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is emerging as a highly important regional actor. “Azerbaijan supports strengthening the functionality of the OTS Secretariat and enhancing its human resource capacity to further increase the organization’s international influence, and has put forward concrete proposals in this regard. To contribute to the work of the organization and provide additional stimulus for increasing the Secretariat’s budget, Azerbaijan has transferred an additional $2 million to the OTS Secretariat,” he said.
