“It is a significant event for the whole world to meet in Türkiye, and for us, as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), to be able to express ourselves here as well," Fikri Ataoğlu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism of the TRNC, said in a statement to journalists, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Antalya reports.
He noted that Azerbaijan is a very important country for the TRNC: “In the coming days, we will hold political consultations in Azerbaijan. Following that, an event will be held in Azerbaijan dedicated to the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This event aims to increase the exchanges between our brothers in Azerbaijan and our brothers in the TRNC.”
