Azerbaijan sends next part of humanitarian aid to Ukraine -PHOTO

The second part of the humanitarian aid consisting of electrical equipment for Ukraine was sent from the territory of the Sumgayit Technology Park on February 12, 2025, APA reports.

According to the report, this humanitarian support was implemented based on the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated February 5, 2025.

For the organization of the aid, one million US dollars in manat equivalent was allocated, and the first part of the aid was sent on February 7, 2025.

Under the Order, the humanitarian cargo sent in two parts includes a total of more than 52,000 meters of electrical cables and wires, as well as 17 transformers.

According to a request from Ukraine, the mentioned equipment is intended to restore the stable electricity supply of war-affected areas.

Recall that, in connection with the current situation, the total amount of reconstruction and humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine has exceeded 40 million US dollars.

Until this day, as part of the electrical equipment, 134 transformers and complete transformer substations, nearly 70 generators, as well as approximately 3.4 million meters of electrical cables and wires have been sent to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
