The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yalchin Rafiyev, has commented on the prospects of Azerbaijan-India relations, APA reports.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev said during a discussion themed "The Rise of the Global South and the West: Azerbaijan's Role, Cooperation, and New Opportunities for Development" at a wide-ranging meeting of the Committee for International Relations and Interparliamentary Connections of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) that India is quite an important country.
"India is a developing country both economically and politically. Azerbaijan has always valued its relations with India. These relations are also reflected in the UN Charter. Both countries should approach their relations in an equally balanced manner," emphasized the Deputy Minister.
