The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of Costa Rica, Laura Fernandez, was held in the capital of San Jose, APA reports citing Azerbaijani Embassy in Costa Rica.
Azerbaijan was represented by our country's Ambassador Seymur Fataliyev at the event, which was attended by delegations from about a hundred countries.
The ceremony, held at the National Stadium of Costa Rica, was attended by high-ranking and high-ranking foreign delegations as well as numerous local residents. President Laura Fernandez took the oath in front of a large crowd and also introduced the members of the new government to the public.
