We thank all Turkish state officials and Turkic people, especially the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan for supporting the just cause of Azerbaijan during the 44-day Patriotic War, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said at the press conference after the meeting of Türkiye-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Commission, APA reports.
The Prime Minister stated that all the work currently being carried out in the liberated territories is being done in collaboration with Turkish businessmen: "Our intention, our goal is one. That is the development of the brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan. Today's signed protocol covers all areas of our cooperation. I am confident that, as in the past period, our governments will join their efforts for the implementation of the signed documents."
PM emphasized that there is an understanding of all issues between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
He noted that the two countries should further strengthen their economic cooperation potential. According to him, the bilateral trade turnover between the two countries stands at $7.65 billion, and efforts are underway to reach the target of $15 billion in bilateral trade turnover set by the leaders of the two countries.
The Prime Minister also added that in line with the spirit of alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, cooperation will continue to deepen in all areas.
