Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Türkiye’s Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum today, Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
According to the information, the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum was emphasized during the meeting, and the organization of panel discussions dedicated to COP and the climate agenda within the framework of the event was welcomed.
The sides also discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the fields of environmental protection, waste management, and combating climate change.
At the same time, the significance of the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku in 2026, was noted.
