The Second Political Consultative Meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan was successfully held in Ulaanbaatar, APA reports citing the website of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was co-chaired by Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged their views on the current state of Mongolia-Azerbaijan political and socio-economic situation as well as further broadening the bilateral cooperation in fields of mutual interest such as economy, trade, investment, transportation, energy, culture and education.
The two sides also discussed issues of regional and multilateral cooperation, as well as organizing exchange of high-level visits, meetings and programs throughout this year.
