Azerbaijan MFA: Significant progress has been achieved on the normalization agenda with Armenia

This year, using historical opportunities emerged for sustainable and lasting peacebuilding in the region, the establishment of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity and the advancement of the peace process has been one of the main directions of our country’s policy in the region, this was reflected in the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the results of 2024, APA reports.

It was noted that following the instructions given at the highest level, pertinent contacts have been continued at the level of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs to agree upon a bilateral treaty that will form the legal basis for interstate relations, significant progress has been achieved on the normalization agenda.
