There is no information about Azerbaijani citizens being among the dead or injured in Nepal, Aykhan Hajizada, Head of the Press Service Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in response to APA’s inquiry.
Note that 19 people have died and around 500 have been injured as a result of protests in Nepal.
Protesters set fire to the parliament building. Against the backdrop of the unrest, the Prime Minister resigned.
Recall that the clashes between protesters and police erupted after the government’s decision to block 26 social media platforms, including Facebook, X, and YouTube.
