Azerbaijan and Iran have signed a document on cooperation, APA reports citing TASNIM.
The 16th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Economic Commission has concluded today in Tehran.
The Protocol of the 16th meeting of the mentioned commission was signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of the co-chairs of the Joint Economic Commission - Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Farzana Sadig.
A number of important agreements have been reached between the two countries on cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, oil and gas, water and agriculture.
At the same time, it has been agreed to sign a preferential trade agreement as soon as possible to expand trade relations between the parties.
