A meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Economic Commission will be held in Tehran next week, said Hossein Pirmoazzen, Deputy Chairman of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mojtaba Demirchilu, APA reports, citing Iranian media.
Hossein Pirmoazzen said that the commissioning of the Ardabil-Baku railway will be a turning point in the export of agricultural products of the province.
According to him, this railway connection will facilitate the export route to Russia, significantly reduce transportation costs, create new economic opportunities and strengthen international cooperation in the region. This requires continuous negotiations.
