U.S. President Donald Trump plans to hold a summit with world leaders on the Gaza issue during his visit to Egypt, APA reports citing Axios.
The summit is expected to bring together the leaders or foreign ministers of Turkiye, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
It is noted that the U.S. side has also invited Azerbaijan to participate in the summit.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not expected to attend the meeting.
According to the Egyptian presidential administration, more than 20 leaders, including Trump, will take part in the summit, which will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh.
